Conducted at the Institute for Mathematics and Science Education (IMSE) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the Whole Number Study focused on students’ conceptual and procedural knowledge of whole numbers concepts.

Implementation Study—UIC 2003–2006

Fraction and Proportionality Study—2004–2006

The Fraction and Proportionality Study was an evaluation of students’ learning of fractions and proportionality in grades 3–5 led my Associate Professor Kathy Cramer at the University of Minnesota.

The Video Study was an analysis of the teaching and learning processes in Math Trailblazers classrooms.
